Our Mission:
To Bring Smiles, Hope, and Encouragement to Cancer Patients.
We have collected over 1,000 items so far and have raised thousands of dollars to purchase additional items. We have three local schools supporting Dani’s Promise as their National Honor Society or Day of Love and Service project. Our goal is to spread the word about Dani’s Promise to as many people as possible and to help as many patients as we can.
How it Works
Dani's Promise provides thoughtfully assembled care packages designed to help patients navigate the physical and emotional challenges of cancer treatment. Each package may include comfort items, practical treatment essentials, educational resources, personal care products, activity books, blankets, cold therapy products, journals, and other items selected based on patient needs.
What Patients Receive
Dani's Promise works in partnership with the University of Miami's Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center to identify and support patients undergoing cancer treatment. Through this partnership, Sylvester physicians, nurses, social workers, and care teams help connect eligible patients with Dani's Promise resources.
UM Sylvester Partnership
Patients are identified through the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center care team and referred to Dani's Promise based on need and eligibility guidelines established with the hospital. Once a referral is received, our team of volunteers prepares and distributes care packages directly through Sylvester locations.
